At the halfway point of my WordPress contribution project, I had already submitted more than 50 translation suggestions for WooCommerce into Spanish (Costa Rica) through the Polyglots Team.

This stage helped me understand that translation in WordPress requires more than translating words literally. It is important to consider context, consistency, technical terminology, and the official glossary used by the community.

I also became more familiar with GlotPress and the different translation statuses, such as waiting, current, and rejected. One of the main challenges was identifying the best translation for technical strings while keeping the language clear and appropriate for Costa Rican Spanish.

At this point, I felt more confident using the platform and contributing to an open-source project. My initial goal was to complete at least 100 translation suggestions, and I planned to continue improving the quality and consistency of my work during the second half of the project.
