Building my personal website allowed me to better understand how WordPress works from the perspective of a site owner. During this activity I learned how to customize the appearance of a website, create pages, organize content, and manage basic settings. I also realized the importance of planning a site’s structure before publishing it. This experience helped me become more comfortable using WordPress and gave me confidence to continue contributing to the WordPress community through the WP Credits program.
